Women in the communityoften lead all aspects of coffee farming and processing, which we are happy and proud tosupport.With revenues from Fair Trade sales, PRODECOOP has purchased a dry mill, and newmachinery and equipment, all of which contribute to the cooperative?s quality standards. FairTrade revenue and funding from various institutions have allowed PRODECOOP to install a qualitycontrol center and cupping lab. PRODECOOP has also implemented quality standards for its drymilling process and is currently creating a quality control center to regulate its exportproduction.PRODECOOP received high scores at the 2003 Nicaraguan Cup of Excellence competition,solid proof of the cooperative's attention to quality.
