Yesterday’s exercise occurred during a break in the rain storms we had in Boise.
Went to the foothills and ran on the Corral’s trail for about 40 minutes with the dog. Normally, I would stay far away from the foothills when it rains, but didn’t have much choice since the dog also needed exercise. Choose Corrals since it is one of the sandier trails that drains water quickly.
Based on today’s weigh in, looks like I need to make an effort to reduce the food consumption. I was thinking that by weighing myself daily, I am setting up a “crutch” of sorts. When I know how much I weigh, I can choose to change my eating habits to the current weight. And if you look at my weight over time, say the last 6 months, you’ll notice that I really haven’t chosen to lose weight.
It doesn’t take much to start losing weight, just enough of a reduction such that the intake of calories is exceeded by the use of calories.
