We shall see.
Time to see if I am serious or not about dropping some more pounds.
Recall that last year, 2007, I hit my goal of losing 23 pounds in 13 months in about 6 months. Since then I have been on a “plateau” of sorts – and have actually gained a few pounds since the end of last year.
What happened? Why haven’t I been able to lose an additional 10+ pounds that I have committed to?
I can tell you why – I have been eating more. So why have I been eating more? That I don’t know. I suspect it is because I have hit my goal and decided that I could afford to slack off a bit. Or maybe it is a case of self sabotaging my efforts to lose more weight.
So I have decided to try something different – something different for me.
I purchased the
I’m putting my money where my mouth is and purchased the Hypnosis Network’s Enjoying Weight Loss
Full disclosure here: I have a vesting interest in this working outside of the obvious health benefit of losing weight for overall better health. I make money if you buy this product. That’s right, I get a commission from people that buy after visiting my site.
You’ll get the honest results from me. Keep your eye on the upper right hand corner of this web site where I list my weight on a daily basis – currently at 168.8 lbs as of 30 June 2008. That will be the ultimate indicator of whether I was successful with this program or not.
Along the way, I will update you on what I think about this program – what I like and don’t like, what works for me and what doesn’t work.
I’m coming into this with a critical eye. I made an effort last year to lose 23 pounds and I did. It didn’t take anything special from me other than a desire and some discipline to do so.
Now it seems like I am dealing with my inner demons and am going to use the Enjoying Weight Loss program to go to the next level. To get my weight down to 155 lbs. by the end of 2008.
There I said it, “I will weigh 155 lbs. by the end of 2008″. That’s 13.8 pounds a way. I have 183 days to do so, lose an average of 0.075 lbs. per day, 0.527 lbs. per week, about 2.1 lbs. per month.
