Keeping Up The Pace

Yes, I have been exercising every day this month and no, I haven’t lost any weight this month.  Seems my weight loss efforts are in “hovering” mode.  What is it that had me losing 4 pounds a month for 5 months straight and now I can’t shake another pound off to save my life?

Am I at my ideal weight (~165 pounds)?  Have not been religious enough in my efforts to lose weight?  Do I need to actually go on a diet and restrict what I eat beyond not eating after dinner?  What?

I plan on being consistent in my exercise effort through the end of the month (even though I am going on a backpack trip around part of Mt Rainer in a couple of days).  I think it might be time to up the exercise effort – my preferred way of losing weight instead of dieting.  I have been considering purchasing a single speed bike for commuting purposes and this might be the justification to do so.  If I can only convince my wife …
