I Did It

Almost five and a half months after I started, I am at my goal of losing 23 pounds.  The only difference is that it didn’t take 13 months like I originally planned for.

I really had no idea how I was going to lose weight, I just knew that I had to lose weight.  And since I wasn’t sure about what to do, I started with “baby steps” – thirty day goals that I could actually stick to and complete.  And I know from previous life experiences that I need to set another goal, something that truly stretches my commitment.

Just wanted to say congratulations on losing 23lbs! That’s a great accomplishment and I’m sure that you feel really good about yourself since losing the weight. I’m glad that you were able to stick to your goal!
