Another Long Weekend Run

by Dave

Long time readers (all of 3.5 months) know that I am training for the Robie Creek half marathon coming up in April 2007.  My training has consistented mostly of short weekday runs and one long weekend run.

This past Sunday, I ran for 2:15:00 (actually, 2:14:57) and covered about 15 miles.  I felt better than when I ran for 2 hours a couple of weeks ago.  Make no mistake, I was tired after this run.  No doubt about it, I was whooped.  But unlike the last long distance run, I actually felt relatively good throughout that run.  I started to feel a little weak after running for 1:40, previously, I felt weak at the 1:00 mark.

Also, the weight loss is going well. I weighed into at 174.0.  This weekend showed a large fluctuation of weight – on Saturday, I weighed in at 172.8 lbs.  By Sunday, I weighed 175ish.  But who cares?
